FMH wishes to announce that the Company had on 8 December 2009 acquired 1 ordinary share of RM1.00 each from Cik Noraini Binti Abdullah in Symphony Express Sdn Bhd for cash consideration of RM1.00, representing 50% of the total paid-up share capital of Symphony Express Sdn Bhd, a private Company incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 14 July 2009, with an authorized share capital of RM100,000.00 comprising 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, of which 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each have been issued and fully paid-up.
Mr. Chew Chong Keat and Mr. Yang Heng Lam, Directors of FMH are also Directors of Symphony Express Sdn Bhd.
The acquisition in Symphony Express Sdn Bhd is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or the net assets of the Company for the year ending 30 June 2010. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of the Company, or persons connected to them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said acquisition.
