Further to the announcement to the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 13.12.2007, the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that Freight Management MSC Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FMH, had on 11 January 2008 increased its paid-up capital from RM2.00 to RM100,000.00 comprising of 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each by the issuance of a total of 99,998 new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each which was fully subscribed by FMH (at a cash consideration of RM99,998).
Mr. Chew Chong Keat and Mr. Yang Heng Lam, Directors and substantial shareholders of FMH are also Directors of Freight Management MCS Sdn Bhd. Ms. Gan Siew Yong, who is the spouse of Mr. Chew Chong Keat is also a Director of Freight Management MSC Sdn Bhd.
The transaction will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company or on the shareholdings of the major shareholders and it is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of the FMH Group.
